High School 101: A Seminar for Parents
NOTE: Due to the new CPS application process, this meeting is postponed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Thank you for your interest in our High School 101 presentation. Currently, CPS is in the process of making some significant changes to the Selective Enrollment Application Process. Unfortunately, the final application and deadlines have not been finalized. Given that, we are rescheduling this seminar for Tuesday, September 28th at 6:00pm. At that time, CPS will be able to provide the best possible information to parents.
You will not need to re-register for the event on the 28th. We will send a reminder out with a zoom link in advance of the seminar. Thank you for your patience and I apologize for any inconvenience.
Attention parents of 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students! Now is the time to start your search for the right high school. Alderman Matt O’Shea and the Beverly Area Planning Association will host High School 101, a zoom seminar designed to help guide parents through the high school selection process on Wednesday, September 8th at 7:00pm.
A representative from Chicago Public Schools will be on hand to explain the process for applying to selective enrollment high schools. In addition, the Principals from the Chicago High School for Agricultural Sciences and Morgan Park High School will both share information about their schools and answer your questions.
19th Ward families have a lot of choices when it comes to high school. Please join us for information and tips to help you navigate this process. This free seminar will be conducted entirely via zoom. Space is limited and reservations are appreciated. Adults only please.
