Citizens Utility Board (CUB) Virtual Cable/Robocall Presentations
Alderman Matt O’Shea and the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) will host two virtual cable/robocall presentations on Monday, May 18th from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm and Wednesday, May 27th from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
During the virtual cable/robocall presentations, a CUB representative will discuss the different choices in the TV market, ways to cut your cable costs, is it time to get rid of your cable, alternatives to satellite or cable, and streaming services available to consumers. In addition, CUB will discuss the different types of robocalls, how to avoid common robocall scams, call-blocking services and what they mean for your pocket, and new proposed federal legislation.
