Citizen Utility Board Hosts Virtual Presentations for Home Energy Savings and Cable Options & Reducing Robocalls

Alderman Matt O’Shea, Senator Bill Cunningham, State Representative Mary Gill, and the Citizens Utility Board (CUB) will host two virtual presentations on Tuesday, April 2nd from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, and Thursday, April 4th from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm. There is no cost for these webinars.

CUB will present the different choices in the TV market, ways to cut your cable costs, whether or not to keep cable, alternatives to satellite or cable, and streaming services available to consumers. In addition, CUB will discuss the different types of robocalls, how to avoid common robocall scams, call-blocking services and what they mean for your pocket, and new proposed federal legislation.
