The 2026 Shared Cost Sidewalk Program will be open for applications on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 6:00 am. 

CDOT’s 2026 Shared Cost Sidewalk Program will be open for applications for ONE DAY ONLY on Monday, January 12th, 2026. We anticipate the program will be filled that day, and it is on a first-come, first-served basis. Applicants will be notified of the final costs approximately 3-4 months after the surveys are completed, at which point they will be given the option to proceed.

Applications will be accepted through 311 (online, phone, or app) starting at 6:00 am under the category “Shared Cost Sidewalk Program Request.” Please note that requests made under the 311 category “Sidewalk Inspection Request” or any other sidewalk category are not directed to the Shared Cost program.
