Bike Across America without leaving the 19th Ward: The 19th Ward, Senator Cunningham, and State Rep. Hurley present Bike Across America without leaving the 19th Ward. A family event held at Mt. Greenwood Park – 3721 W. 111th St. Saturday, May 18, 2013 – 10:00 am – 11:30 am. Bike riders meet at Mt. Greenwood Park Field house at 9:45 am. The escorted bike route will start at 10:00 am sharp. All ages are welcome.

Free Shredding & Electronics Recycling: The 19th Ward, Midway Document Destruction and Sims Recycling Solutions will host a free paper shredding and electronics recycling drop off at the Crosswinds Church parking lot, located at 10835 s. Pulaski Rd. from 9:00-11:00am

Town Hall Meeting: On Thursday, June 13, 2013, the 19th Ward will host a Town Hall Meeting at the 22nd District Chicago Police Station, 1900 W. Monterey, at 7:00pm. There, Alderman Matt O’Shea, 22nd District Commander Jim Gibson, and representatives from various city departments will be available to address community questions or concerns.
